So it begins: meet Patton Alley Pub
There are times I have to thank the higher powers for my job.
When I got the assignment of giving our readers an "Inside Look” into Patton Alley Pub, I thought I was going to cry tears of joy. Though I don’t ever need an excuse to drop by one of my all-time favorite places, my boss telling me to eat and drink there was a pretty good one.
Located on Patton Avenue next to Zan Nightclub, this Springfield staple has been pulling in crowds since before I was born (okay, they've been open a little over six years), providing 36 beers on tap and a slew of great food. For a very long time, if you wanted to find me on a Sunday night, Patton Alley was the place to look. The pub is known for having one of the best beer selections in the Ozarks, hosting an array of great live bands and playing home to Sunday Night Trivia Binge.
If you’ve never been to Trivia Binge, you’re definitely missing out; there's no better way to top off your weekend than with a little unconventional trivia, 2-for-1 well drink specials and half-price American drafts and appetizers. You really can’t lose.
Well, unless you literally lose at trivia.
