Q Enoteca
To further the argument that Commercial Street could be the most "extreme" of Springfield's makeovers, enter Q Enoteca, the brainchild of Big Momma's owner Lyle Foster, which has addded considerable juice to the area's, uh, commercial clout. The cozy, vintage-y (ha) wine bar has made classy affordable by offering a number of delicious wines at prices you don't find at many bars and restaurants. They also operate as an off-license (as they call it in Ireland) selling wines not only in their shop, but by the bottle to go. Foster has also stocked the shelves with specialty beers, and his floors with friendly, easy-on-the-eyes staff. I'm not sure what was in this space prior to Q Enoteca's arrival, but I'm guessing it wasn't anything quite like this.
