Did anyone else find it weird that the MOVIE industry's biggest night opened with a song from a TELEVISION/BROADWAY star--Neil Patrick Harris?

Hosting the Oscars? It's complicated...
Frequent "Saturday Night Live" hosts and "It's Complicated" co-stars Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin took a different approach to Oscar hosting than we've seen in recent years. They went for a relaxed back-and-forth banter, but Oscar hosts are only as good as their material, and their's was hit or miss. The result was pretty forgettable.
