Before 9/11, the phrase "ground zero" simply meant a nuclear wasteland, a meme that gave life to Fishbone's amped rocker "Party at Ground Zero" as well as this goofy winner from the king of spoofs. After 9/11, Weird Al's morbidly hilarious celebration of Christmas togetherness—"And if the radiation level's OK / I'll go out with you and see the all new / Mutations on New Year's Day"—became about as politically incorrect as a George Carlin monlogue. Which means it's time to bring it back.
