The Pretenders

Talk about planting a seed: For their latest album, “Break Up the Concrete,” Chrissie Hynde and co. wrapped the first several thousand copies in handmade “plantable” covers, with seeds embedded in the paper. Just bury the paper in your garden (but not, presumably, under concrete) and watch it sprout. Neat!
