Indie rock couples we'd like to see

Indie rock’s coolest curmudgeon is a tough one to pair off, but we think we may have found the perfect foil for the LCD Soundsystem mastermind in Germany’s Ellen Allien. Like Murphy, Allien is a veteran electronic music producer who runs her own label (him: DFA; her: BPitch Control); like Murphy, she crafts music that’s both smart and dancefloor-igniting; and like Murphy, she’s become an unlikely style icon, with her own clothing and T-shirt line. This would be one power couple that would never lose their edge.
