U2 in Denver
By nearly any measure, U2's 360° Tour was the biggest concert tour in history. Launched in Europe in June of 2009, it sold the most tickets of any tour ever (over 7 million), grossed the most sales (over $700 million), featured the tallest stage ever constructed (the 167-foot-tall "Claw"), took 120 trucks to transport, and burned through $750,000 a day in production costs. And that's not even counting how much money the whole thing lost when Bono threw his back out, requiring emergency surgery and forcing the postponement of the band's last North American dates from 2010 to 2011.
Metromix was on hand at many of those rescheduled dates to capture U2 and their fans celebrating the final weeks of the historic tour. Here are some of our favorite images from those shows.
