No one's really sure who first slapped a beef patty on a bun (its origins and originator are hotly contested), but despite its unconfirmed genesis, it's still one of my favorite inventions of all time. After recovering from a 48-hour nacho binge, I felt like it was time to find the best burger in Springfield. My assignment was to eat a bunch of hamburgers, collect visual evidence, report my findings, and then declare a winner. I'm going to avoid all the large chain restaurants and focus on locally owned places.

Note: If I didn't review your favorite hamburger, please leave a comment. Even if it's a Whopper.
