Ribs Meal

The first thing to mention about both meals is how heavy the plates were when they arrived. If you pick up a Boxcar meal, they are loading your plate down with pounds of food. As my co-taster said so perfectly, "It's $7 for more food than I can finish!" There is no way you are going home hungry. That's what soulful, comfort cooking is about -- good ingredients, secrets recipes and being so full, it hurts.
Again, the ribs were perfectly prepared. You could taste the glazed sauce that was caramelized into every juicy layer. There was a lot of meat for the size of the rib. It wasn't fatty or gritty at all, which means Boxcar is using a great quality meat. They were smoky, juicy and mouth watering.
