Shredded Chicken Burrito
Again, the restaurant is called the Purple Burrito Express, so we were all dying to try the burritos. Disappointingly though, there was not an actual purple burrito on the menu, so my pal grabbed up the shredded chicken variety instead. He mentioned the pieces of chicken were surprisingly large, and that he felt like he was getting real value for the money. In addition, for whatever reason, it's hard to come by a burrito in this town that isn't skimpy and anemic-looking. These burritos, however, actually looked like burritos. Substantial, girthy and packed-solid with delicious, edible sundries. It's about freaking time.
Something else needs to be mentioned, by the end of the meal, this plate was cleaned. We're talking everything, even down to the usually overlooked rice and beans.
