Whisler's: Triple Cheeseburger
Whisler's is a brand new downtown restaurant that almost exclusively serves hamburgers, so I started there. The first thing that sticks out about the place are the insanely low prices. My triple cheeseburger was only $2.90. Of course, the size of the hamburger patty is relatively small -- think somewhere between White Castle and McDonalds. Speaking of McDonalds, if I was blindfolded, I probably couldn't tell the difference between a Whisler's cheeseburger and a McDonald's Quarter Pounder with extra cheese. I mean that in the best way possible. Each bite was deliciously greasy and salty, but I didn't have to wrestle with my conscience for eating Grade F fast food horse meat. Oh, and I love a McFlurry as much as Alec Baldwin on "30 Rock," but Whisler's milkshake is way better.
