Both of our meals came with the standard ginger dressing salad that you get at most stateside Japanese and sushi restaurants. It didn't disappoint. I don't know what they make this dressing out of but it's delicious — tangy, sweet, a little salty and spiked with ginger. I've never seen it on anything but iceberg lettuce and I think that's for a couple of reasons: 1) the iceberg is hearty enough to take on the heavy (in mass, not in fat) dressing and 2) who needs fancy lettuce when the dressing is the show? Bring on the utilitarian iceberg.
