Crunchy California Roll

We were pretty dang hungry when we walked into the restaurant so we went a little overboard. In addition to our lunch specials, we each ordered a hand roll (both around $5). I went with the Crunchy California roll, as I am a sucker for anything that involves tempura flakes. This eight-piecer was pretty generously suffed with avocado, crab and cucumber and then dusted with those crunchy little fried delights.  I added a big old blob of wasabi and then dunked (drowned?) each piece in soy sauce. The roll was gone faster than my delicate, ladylike sensibilities care to admit. That roll really hit the spot.
