Baseball, booze and burgers. It's a proven winning combination across our great nation. Local Springfield sports fans near campus can wander across Kimbrough to Boomers Campus Sports Bar & Restaurant. Formerly occupied by Coesters, the newly repurposed space has a couple of nifty updates. The new name, "Boomers," may be the name of Missouri State's bear mascot, but more importantly, the new menu includes a larger selection of tasty choices. Pizzas, strombolis, burgers, sandwiches and salads have spruced up the former restaurant's less than sparkling dining options.
