My favorite restaurant in the world, Shauncey’s Ice Cream Parlor, isn’t there any more, but I found a new reason to start eating at the Freemont Shopping Center again. BamBu is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that I recently discovered when I went shopping for razors at Just For Him. Everything about my first meal at BamBu was delicious and memorable: from the uncommonly good tapioca pearls and clear noodles to an exotic rice pudding dessert.
