The Walking Taco: ..."I'm sorry, what?!?"
Ok, so I’ll admit that when I was first described the “Walking Taco,” I may have made an “eww” sound.
There was something extremely unappealing about the sound of beef poured into a Doritos bag, then topped with cheese and hot sauce. Even though I was extremely reluctant, I dove in fork first for the sake of our review. My first tip to you for eating this snack is to do yourself a favor by crunching up the chips in the bag before you dig in; it makes eating it so much easier and so much more enjoyable.
After Adam and I had both had a few bites, we stood there in pure shock at how good it was. How was it possible that something that sounded so completely unappealing turned out to be something that we both fought over to get the last bite? The tangy flavors in the Doritos paired well with the beef and salty hot sauce. I wanted the cheese melted a bit more but Adam didn’t seem to mind; he ended up protecting the bag as if he were a lion protecting his new kill. I had to make a few dangerous jabs at the bag to indicate that I too wanted more.
