A menu and a theme
There’s a huge menu on the wall when we walked in the door. So we figured out the theme right away. Here it is: anything Asian that you can put in a bowl, with rice. The nice and helpful cashier told us they’ll eventually add things such as spaghetti and macaroni and cheese. It reminds us of Noodle Company (Springfield doesn’t have one), only using rice and exclusively Asian flavors instead of noodles.
Everything is reasonably priced (Chicken $5.95, Beef $6.95, Shrimp $7.95). And you can make any meal a combo for $1.95 extra (that includes an egg roll or two crab puffs with a drink). We like how simple it is. There aren’t a hundred numbers or slightly different variations of the same thing.
